A new software program allows Skype users to record their phone conversations and save them on their computer as MP3, WMA, OGG or WAV.

ExtraLabs Software, released its Skype Recorder v.1.2 for download on its Web site. They describes the recorder as "an easy-to-use tool for recording Skype audio conversations, Skype Recorder can record Skype calls automatically"

According to the software description posted on the ExtraLabs website, the software will start recording phone calls by itself as soon as you start talking on Skype. After your call is finished, it will encode the recording to the specified format you choose and will save the ready file on your hard drive...

The Skype recorder 1.2 is available for downloads on ExtraLabs' Web site for $13.96 for a single computer license.
